01
Is AI interior design free?
You can try it free. Every visitor gets one free render — it arrives as a watermarked preview, with no account and no card. Create a free account and you get 5 more credits, which unlock full-resolution downloads; renders made on the free tier still carry the Spacevo watermark and are for personal use. Watermark-free images with a commercial licence come with a paid plan, which starts at $19.50 per month — about $0.39–$0.49 per render on a yearly plan.
02
What is the best AI for interior design?
It depends on what you are redesigning. Tools that generate a room from a text prompt alone are fine for mood boards, but they invent a space that does not exist. If the result has to match a real room — same walls, same windows, same camera angle — you want a structure-aware tool that works from your own photo. Spacevo is built for that case, and the free render lets you judge it on your own room rather than on someone else's demo.
03
Can AI redesign a room from a photo?
Yes, a single photo is enough. The model reads depth, surfaces and lighting from the image, then re-renders the room with new materials, furniture and decor in the same perspective. You do not need a floor plan, measurements or a 3D file. Photos taken from a room corner in daylight give the most reliable results; very dark shots or heavily distorted wide-angle frames give the model less to work with.
04
Does the AI keep my walls, windows and layout?
Yes — that is the whole point of structure-aware rendering. Walls, windows, doors, ceiling height and the angle you shot from stay recognisable, so you can hand the render to a contractor, a landlord or a furniture shop and talk about your actual room. When you do want the arrangement to change, switch to layout redesign, which rearranges furniture inside that same footprint.
05
How long does an AI interior design render take?
Usually well under a minute per render, and you can queue several style directions back to back. In practice most people spend longer choosing between the results than waiting for them — a traditional interior visualisation is normally quoted in days, not seconds.
06
Can I use the images for a property listing?
Paid plans and valid purchased credit packs include a commercial licence, so those renders can go into listings, brochures, short-let pages and client presentations. Free, bonus and referral-credit renders are watermarked and personal-use only. Many portals also ask that virtually staged photos be labelled as edited — check your local rules and disclose the AI edit.
07
Do I need design experience or 3D software?
No. There is nothing to install and nothing to model. If you can take a photo and describe what you want in one sentence, you can use it. The style presets exist for exactly the moment when you know a room feels wrong but cannot name the look you are reaching for.
08
Which rooms and styles does it handle?
Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, home offices, nurseries, balconies and completely empty shells all work, in flats and houses alike. Style directions include modern, warm cream, Japandi, Scandinavian, soft luxury, French, bohemian and minimalist — and when none of the presets fit, describing the look in your own words works just as well.
